I’m proud to be the Lead Preschool Teacher at our wonderful childcare center. With extensive experience and training in education and childcare, I bring a wealth of knowledge and passion to my role.

My journey in education has been diverse and rewarding. I hold a Minnesota teaching license, and for over 7 years, I taught Sixth Grade ESL in the Minneapolis public school system. Those early years in teaching were incredibly fulfilling, but I soon realized my heart belonged to the younger minds, the ones just starting their educational journey.

Over the past 12 years, I’ve had the privilege of teaching both second grade and preschool in a variety of settings, including Montessori, public, and charter schools. Each experience has enriched my understanding of early childhood development and reinforced my commitment to giving every child a strong start in life.

What drives me every day is the belief that we are shaping the minds of our future leaders. The preschool years are a critical time when children are like sponges, absorbing knowledge, values, and social skills that will shape their future. Being a part of this journey, guiding them through these formative years, is an honor I hold dear.

My educational background includes a BA in Language Arts from Wayne State University and an MA in Education from Augsburg College. These degrees have not only provided me with the necessary tools but have also fueled my passion for teaching and nurturing young minds.

As your Lead Preschool Teacher, and I am dedicated to creating a nurturing and enriching environment for your children. My goal is to provide them with the best possible start in life, fostering their curiosity, creativity, and love for learning. I am excited to embark on this educational journey with your child, helping them grow into the future leaders they are destined to become.
